The Lebanon Mountain Trail (LMT) is a 470-km trail crossing Lebanon from north to south, connecting 76 village communities. The LMT began as an international development project to empower local communities by bringing responsible tourism to marginalized rural areas. It has become a corridor of connections, peacebuilding, and economic development, preserving a rich natural and cultural heritage.
We are the Canadian Friends of the Lebanon Mountain Trail (CFLMT), proud LMT supporters. Our mission is to promote ecological and cultural conservation in Lebanon’s mountains by fostering cultural exchange between Canada and Lebanon.
The CFLMT along with the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association are sponsoring a hike at Parc National du Mont-Orford, Quebec, on Saturday, September 28, 2024. See our Events page.
