Joining the CFLMT
Membership in the CFLMT is for a calendar year, January 1 to
December 31, and includes benefits and perks in addition to
supporting the protection of a cultural and environmental
treasure:

access to our member-only free events,
which include group hiking trips organized in the areas of
Eastern and Western Canada (Greater Toronto Area, BC Lower
Mainland, and Montreal);

discounted rates to our events, featuring guest
speakers from the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association, in person
and on-line, and group hiking trips;
-
staying current through the CFLMT's quarterly
e-Newsletter, which
includes the latest news, a list of upcoming trips and events,
plus updates on Lebanon Mountain Trail conservation efforts;

making charitable contributions
to support the protection, maintenance, and
promotion of the Lebanon Mountain Trail.
Membership dues (see below) will be accepted via Interac e-transfer to
donations@cflmt.ca.

Details of membership
Membership in the CFLMT offers a unique opportunity for all to
share in promoting the objectives and purpose of the Association.

Membership in the Association shall be open to all persons who
align with the mission of the Association.

Memberships shall be subject to the approval of the Board.

The Board has the ability to establish and modify a fee structure
for membership at any time.

The Association is authorized to establish Class A members and Class B
members as follows:

Class A Member – a Member who is active in the Association as a
Class B Member for a minimum of one year. Being active means having
participated in at least two events or contributing a minimum of 10 hours
to Association activities during the previous year. Class A Member shall
be entitled to receive notice of and attend all Association Member
meetings, to have one vote at each such meeting, and to submit their
name for election to the Board.

Class B Member – a Member who pays fees but are not active in the
Association and are not entitled to receive notice of, attend, or vote at
meetings of the Association Members, except as otherwise provided by
the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, S.C. 2009, c.23.
